Hey there I have a few questions. I have places a thread on the Christians Adoption site, entitled Questions. And got alot of input on it, but I would like her from bmoms.
I have a couple of questions.
Well I'm wondering what alot of you look for in aparents. And what kind of chances my family and I have in being chosen by a bmom. So I will tell all of you alittle about us and I would like her some input form anyone about us.
We have been happily married for over 10 years. We have 3 beautiful, smart boys.(I'm not bragging, just proud.) I can not have anymore children. I had to have a hysterctomy in Feb. 2002 at the age of 28. We have always wanted to have a daughter. And would truely love to adopt a newborn girl. But I also have to say that our family is not rich by no means. We have a lower -middle class income. My husband works fulltime, and I work partime, with a very flexible scheldule. We are lifetime residents of our small town (20,000).
We are also christians and are very active in our church. I believe that God has lead us to the decision to adopt.
We are very invovled in our boys life. We do sports, and I am PTO president at their school.
Anyway I am wondering if any of this is what any of you looked at when you were looking at aparents for your child??
Thank You for any input to my Thread, and God Bless all of you brave birthmothers....

Hey Summersun,
Thanks for the input. So the fact that we don't have alot of money wouldn't bother you or the fact that we already have bio-children??
I understand the not caring what the sex of the baby is. But our case we truely do want a girl. That is our whole reason for adopting. So that we have the opion to choose. I will always let my daughter know that she is loved by choice. But only through the love of God..:)
Because I have prayed and asked God to send me a little girl, and will not object to her being raised in church, because that is the most important thing to our family..
Example:( Last year my sons teacher was sending home alot of homework on the nights that we went to church, and it was takeing him along time to get it all done. So I went to ask his teacher if she would give him a little extra time in class to do it on that day.) I mean don't get me wrong I think school is very important too.:)
Thank You for your info..
God Bless You!!:p
P.S. We do love animals, we have a dog, a cat, and 7 fish.
God Bless You Again:p
I wanted a chrstian couple. I wanted them to be able to take my child on trips and things. I wanted the couple not to have any bio children. I also wanted them to have a big hose so my child would have lots of room for siblings and sleep overs. And I did not want them to be gender specific. What are you going to do? Send the baby back if it is the wrong sex.
