My wife and I are wanting to adopt a Filipino child. We both are Filipino and need help on getting started.I am stationed in Korea right now and have no sources on base that can help. Who can I contact and how long will the process take.
The process can take 18 months- 2 years from start to finish however, Filipino parents do take precedence over other waiting families!
Your best bet would be to contact an agency in the states that has a Philippines program and explain your situation. We used Hand in Hand International Adoptions.
I would also recommend Holt International and You do not have to live in the same states as the agency.
