I am hoping to talk to some folks who have already adopted a child from Panama. I've heard kids from Guatemala are usually quite healthy and adjust well. I'm wondering if the Panamanian children have a similar success rate. What did you think of the orphanages and care-givers in Panama?
Does anyone have any advice on what age range I should put on my agency application? I thought I'd go from about age 1-3. What have you all learned about toddler adoptions? Any books or websites you've found that will help me prepare for a toddler adoption?
Try:
Toddler Adoption: The Weaver's Craft by Mary Hopkins-Best.
It's a really good book.
