Can You help me?

Hello,

I dont know if any of you can help me or not.

But As you may already know I'm planning to under go the adoption process as a single parent .

However before I do Id like to find out about some adoptive parent support groups

or groups for those planning to adopt Especialy ones with other singles planning to adopt or those who have.

I have seen on many sites and books that it's a good idea to join these before hand to help one learn and also help one deal with all the waiting that comes along.

So I was hoping maby you could tell me where I could find such groups or somthing.

Good luck! I have been searching for a support group since my little girl was born (3 years ago), without success. I am currently in Louisiana - not IL -- but I advise that you call the advocacy for adoption in your state.

Did you try going to the IL forum? They may be able to help you more.
