sorry to bug you again...hopefully this is some sort of link to my mysterious past! and hopefully you have found your niece....guess that's what all this searching is about- hope..
anyways- wanted to clarify,
f born 11/7/1975 on Davis-Monthan AFB to 16-18 year old -no other info except that for some reason my mom thinks that my dad was in michigan or I was conceived in michigan...the lawyer who handled the adoption was pretty general/vague about the details and it's almost 29 years ago...also thought bmom's parents were in the middle of divorce or marital problems...bmom started adoption stuff during preg, then decided to keep me (3 weeks), then wound up giving me up...Mom seems to think either of my folks had german heritage (but I think the lawyer may have just been trying to sweet talk her because she is german)...
When I was born I was a large baby- between 9 and 11 lbs...blond hair, blue/grey eyes, button type nose, chubby cheeks (those have not gone away!). I am now not too tall 5'6" ish, my hair is dark blond, still have blue/grey eyes, and I've got a long torso and definitely not long legs! I have type 1 diabetes (which can be genetic- more likely if dad had/has 'betes but then it's only an eight percent chance), am nearsighted, and just read this and I sound like a real picnic!
From what I understand, my birthfather didn't want anything to do with my birthmom or the pregnancy, or distance was an issue, but at that very young age it is understandable...
The adoption was finalized in NY (where my parents live) and I now live with my husband of almost 5 years right outside of Boston, MA with our wonderful year old son, Alex.
Just wanted to give you all the information I have...
I'm just looking for information-family medical history, etc...but would love to have a relationship of some sort when I do find a long lost relative- but only to the degree that that side would like.
