I NEED TO FIND MY BROTHER . MY MOM GAVE HIM UP BEFORE I WAS BORN HE WAS BORN IN SYRACUSE OR AUBURN. MY MOTHER WAS MENTALLY ILL AND PASSED AWAY THIS AUGUST. I DESPERTLY WANT THIS LINK TO MY MOTHER . I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN ABOUT HIM AND MY MOTHER LOVED HIM VERY MUCH. SHE KEPT ME BECAUSE MY FATHER WOULDNT AGRRE TO ADOPTION. I WANT TO MEET MY BROTHER AND INTRODUCE HIM TO HIS THREE NIECES. its hard in ny to have birth records open , im going through that right now, im searching for my son. and hit dead ends everywhere i turn.

If you are searching for a sibling.. you sould register with the ISRR and also the NYS Biological Sibling registries! NY bio-sibling information you receive will give you the name of the adoption agency.. and that can hopefully give a means to find a person, post adoption SW that you might be able to contact there.
