where do we go from here??

I have applied to have my file opened in Nashville, I am sending off for my non-identifing info, trying to get a copy of my adoption decree. I was born in 1971 in we think Greeneville TN could have been Morristown area. Just want to know where I came from, medical history. Any suggestions??????????
