Searching for Family of Melvin Madlock

Hello everyone, I am looking for my father's birth family. He was adopted through the Tennesse Children's Home Society and Georgia Tann. He was born in Nashville on July 29, 1949 and adopted to a family in New York. My grandmother spotted his original birth certificate before the adoption was final, and saw that his given name was Melvin Madlock. Thank you, Michelle Pickren
