I have a Babtism record but that was after I was adopted. I know that I was adopted through Catholic Charities. I am going to contact St. E's. How did you find your birthmother? Did you meet? I would love to see what my mother (and father)looks like. Plus what nationality. I'm just curious. I've always known I was adopted and I don't have any problem with it. My adopted parents gave me a very good life. Thank you for replying.
I too was born at St. Margaret's Hospital. May 5, 1955. My 49th birthday is coming up, both my adoptive parents are dead and I would love to know who my birthmother was or nationality or health records, anything!!! I was adopted through Catholic Charities so you know that in itself will be quite a difficult task!
Any suggestions?
Louise
Hi, My Sister-in-law was born at that Hospital on July 1, 1955. Her Birth Mom has registered with Catholic Charities but hasn't been contacted. Adopted Father worked with Telephone company and mother was a stenographer. Adopted name was Anne Mary.
