Tree of Life in Bulgaria

I am interested in adopting from Bulgaria and have a special interest in OI(osteogenesis imperfecta/brittle bones) kids. I have found an agency that has the same special interest and they have found me a 20 month old little boy. Does anyone out there know anything good or bad about Tree of Life? Please let me know as I really want to get this child out and on treatments.

Hi! I have worked with TOL and they are definitly committed to special needs children. Bianca and daniel are great. On the downside their coordinator in BG is over extended so be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Right now there is NO system in place for you to chose your child, the MOJ has to send you a referral and you decline or accept. The chances of being able to be matched with the child they may have had info on in the past is not guaranteed.

I do not want to disappoint you, just prepare you. I really admire any agency that looks to serving the special needs kids, and was pleased with TOL in my adoption, but not in the honesty of their facilitator.
