My birth mother was supposedly told I was born dead so I doubt she's looking for me. I was delivered by a Dr. Slappy who had a clinic on Courtney Drive in Homewood, AL. My birth mother was supposedly a young girl whose family did not want the embarrassment of an illegitimate baby. If anyone else was delivered by this doctor or can provide details on how I might, begin a search for my birth mom, please reply to my post. I believe my birth records were fixed to make my adoptive parents named as my birth parents. This is likely to make my search impossible but I can hope

We need to talk. My story is nearly identical to yours except that I wasn't told that my birthmother was told that I died during birth. My name is Pamela too. I was delivered by this same Dr. Slappy. My birthrecords were fixed too. I was born in February 1974. This is too eery. I hope you are still able to receive these messages.
