Adoption

Hey y'all -

I'm working on a book about adoption. I just started it and I'm very excited about it. I'm adopted and I have also placed a child up for adoption through LDS Family Services. I would love to talk to anyone involved in adoption - whether you are a birth mom or an adoptive parent or an adopted child - or even if you know someone who is adopted or has adopted. Congratulations on starting your book. Can you tell us more about it? What sort of book will it be? An autobiographical history, a collection of triad experiences, what? Can't wait to hear more.

Hey guys - thanks for responding! I just thought of the idea to write this book on Sunday so bear with me if I seem unorganized or jumbled. I think what I am leaning towards more is a book that tells the stories from every side of adoption - from birthparents to adoptive parents to adopted children to anyone who is involved in adoption. Every book I've come across recently just seems so technical and unfeeling. I think adoption is a beautiful thing and every story is one of love and sacrifice and hope and that's what I want to get across. Like I said above, I was adopted and I've also given a child up for adoption and I'll include those stories in there. That's what I've got so far - so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
