Hi - We have been looking into different agencies and organizations. I noticed in a previous post that someone mentioned Lifetime which is more of a facilitator. I'm interested in knowing if anyone out there is currently dealing with Lifetime or a similiar "facilitator". From what I gather they act as a mediator or seach agent to help find you a family and you then set up your homevisits and attorney on your own. I'm curious to see if this has worked out for others out there.
Thanks for your help!

Here is a response that I received from the NJ state Licensing Board about using Facilitators:
Jennifer,
New Jersey State Adoption Law, N.J.S.A. 9:3-37 et seq, does not permit the
use of paid facilitator/intermediary in placing children for adoption.
If you are interested, I will be happy to send a list of approved adoption
agencies to assist you in adopting a child.
