Hi,
I want to adopt my wife's daughter. Her daughter is under her custody since birth. There is no official marriage between my wife and the child's natural father.
I would require the consent of the natural father for my adoption in my country. However, the natural's father refuse. In order to get this consent letter, what should i do. If i go to court in thailand, what is my chance ? Would need the advise of anyone who has gone through my current situation now.

Isn't the b-dad suitable for the child? Not trying to discourage you or anything. As a b-dad, I am standing up for all GOOD b-dads. Not all dads are dead beats. I lost my child over adoption. I would hate to see any good b-dads go through it. What do they assume that a color man has no heart? I don't know about your case. I wish you the best. I know some top law firms in thailand. But your description wasn't so clear.
