My husband and I live in Alberta and are just starting to look into international adoption and were wondering if anyone has or are going through the process for adopting from either Russia or Kazakhstan? We are having trouble getting good information and anything anyone could send our way would be great!
Also if anyone has another recommendation for another country that would be appreciated (we are under 30 so cannot adopt from China)
thanks so much

Hi, we were looking to adopt from Russia as well, since we are both Russian and then no relatives can come and try to take the child away. There are a few agencies, Adoption Options
http://www.adoptionoptions.com/int_prog.html I think had the most information. You can also try to read some stuff from the internet. Or request the package and they'll send it to you right away.
We decided not to go internationally the first time, it's too expensive for us right now, so maybe in a few years:)

Hi. My husband and I are planning to adopt from Kazakhstan. We are just beginning. We will be working with an agency called Alls Gods Children. Our situation is unique, we have different citizenships. But we felt better when we found out that this agency works with other couples in the same vote. It is a long process, but an exciting thing and I wish you the best!
