Searching for the first daughter of Eugenie Marie Flicek (now Vietor). I am her second, and there was another as well.
As far as I know, she was born 1977 or 1978, and placed into adoption immediately following birth. She most likely was born and adopted in the Austin, MN area (maybe Rochester) since that's where my mother lived most of her life. I do not know her father's name.
I no longer have contact with my mother, but would be interested in meeting my sister.
PM me if you have any info. Thanks!
-Michelle
I wish you the best with your search.
I was first born to my birth mother in December of 1978, but it was in Hennipen county.
I don't know if I have younger siblings... it would be great to find out!
Best wishes!

I have done a search for my birth mother, and they found her, but she wanted no contact. And they would not release ANY information to me. I wanted info on my father, and because she wanted no contact, that leaves me with NO info at all. They wouldn't tell me anything.
I feel like the adoption agency has all the keys to some of my answers, and they keep it locked away in their little file cabinet!
I pray that your search turns out successful!
:D
So I found my sister - practically right under my nose! (kind of a pun, as she's a head shorter than I, lol) I live in Minneapolis, and it turned out she was in St. Paul.
I found out my sister's birthdate, and city of birth. It turned out there was only one hospital in the city, and only two girls born that day!
I emailed both, and one verified the information given, as well as providing some on herself that I verified. She was so excited to get to meet her birth mother, and both sisters!
The only bad news... I had to inform her that she would not be able to meet her birth father or his family, as he has passed and his family was very uncooperative in communication. I'm not sure of their circumstances, but I have stopped trying to communicate with them out of respect for their privacy.
Thank you to all that helped and hoped for my success. I wish you the very same.
Happy Mothers Day to ALL mothers, birth, adopted, or foster moms, all are necessary and should be celebrated!
