I am a white male born in New Orleans on October 26, 1963.They said i had a sister but she died at birth.I am looking for my biological parents.I believe i was born at Baptist Hospital and the adoption was handled through VOA.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi have you gotten your non-id info yet?

the search guru has good info in her posts per state, on each states' searching resources.

Have you searched obits for a newborns death? Or death records? Not sure which.

I have many ideas but not much help. BTW I'm a native new orleanian who is currently working in town. I can look up names if you wish. Or tell you about the city... that's it though.

I assume that you have registered with the LA Adoption Registry? If not, be sure and do so. Their website is:
