sealed records

Has anyone requested their birth records from Nashville and received their records? If so, I have some questions about the process and how long it took? We have sent the fee, our check was processed on June 8 and we are still waiting for the next step. When we called last week, they said they were working on the file and to call back in 2 weeks if we still have not received anything? Sheila
