Female adoptee born April 24, 1971 in Kittanning, PA looking for birth-family or any info that might lead me to them.
I believe Catholic Charities may have had something to do with my adoption, but not sure what exactly.
As for most PA adoptions (from what I'm reading), not even sure my birthdate is 100% accurate, so if it's a little off, but it could be me - let me know, we could be a match!
As soon as I have a chance to dig out all the paperwork (I just moved), I'll add anything else I think may help.
I've always known I was adopted, that I was "picked special", but my family has no info on my birth-family. I've always been curious, but I am not looking to be someone's "little girl" - I'm 33! I would just like to have a chance to meet or talk with someone who's part of my history - I have the same questions millions of other adoptees have - Where am I from? What food should I have brought to the 'Heritage Days' festival? Who do I look/sound like? Any reason I should be worried (medical reasons) about my health?, etc.
This is the first time I'm really searching, don't know why now, it just felt like the right time.
Thanks fror sharing any info/advice you might have with me.

Hi,
I'm not quite sure if you are who I am looking for, but I am currently searching for a baby girl my mother gave up for adoption in Pennsylvania in April of 1971. Unfortunetly that is all the information I have. My mother died two years ago with her secret and the only one at this time that holds the answers is my Aunt who lives in Mechanicsburg PA because that is where my mother stayed when she was ready to give birth, we are actually from Massachusetts but my mothers sister resides in PA. Your birth parents must know what agency they used or have some type of correspondence from the adoption that you can use to find some answers out from the courts. The Agency that handled your adoption will have a record of the birth mother, or the hospital where she gave birth. My email address is ShyLuvsKwon@aol.com my real name is Shelly Cropper - Cropper was also my mothers legal name at that time but she may of went under her maiden name Sullivan.
