Pro Life people please listen here is a chance to have Roe vs Wade over turned !
At the moment of conception it is a human being just look at the court cases, that there is a double standard that a women can choose to terminate her pregnancy because it is her body Roe vs. Wade 1972 and it is considered an fetus not a baby so therefore it is not murder but at the same time if someone terminates the pregnancy without the womens consent example in an accident an unborn child dies it is considered manslaughter or if she is murdered and the unborn child dies then it is a double homicide or someone that punches her in the abdomen and cause the death of the unborn child then it is considered Manslaughter of the unborn child. So ladies which is it murder of choice!
I have another recent article here is the link http://www.sltrib.com/utah/ci_2431343 this guy was charged with a double homicide.
We went from one extreme before 1972 to another extreme after Roe vs. Wade and still no middle ground on when an abortion should be medically necessary which should be the point, but in the very near future I predict we will go to another extreme a total ban on abortion again when enough people are in prison for murder or manslaughter of an unborn child then the government and pro life will have the opportunity to state the facts that people are in prison for murder and therefore the courts have considered that an unborn child is not a fetus but indeed a human being with all the civil rights as you or me have, and when that is proven which it will be then more than likely Doctors will be charged with murder and the women that receive the abortion will be charged with accessory to murder, I think it is a good time for pro choice and pro life to get together and find a middle ground for when it is medically necessary far ANY ABORTION before it is to late and we go back to another extreme again.
All I ask is to read up on these cases and you will see where this is going use your common sense.
Sincerely
Scott
P.S I ґm pro life and believe that there is a middle ground but if we cant find one then I will go with the extreme no abortion at all because I have no other choices given to me to stop senseless killing of human beings.

the mother has the right to terminate a pregnancy, they are prosecuting because basically.... that other person did NOT have that right.

I live in NY and the state does not recognize the fetus as a person. As in the cases you state, prosecution for manslaughter is not available. Commiting an illegal abortion is the charge.
Our local news did a huge, detailed story on this exact thing when Scott Peterson was charged with killing both his wife and UNBORN child. The news story went on to compare those charges to how a local person was charged under similar circumstances.
I am PRO-Choice. And it means exactly that - CHOICE. To many pro-lifers think that pro-choice means pro abortion - that is not the only choice. But the act of giving an option to choose - laying out ALL the options and choosing one to live with. That is the right and responsibility of the person making the choice. And since the woman is the only person that has to live with the choice, she should be the only one making the choice.
I'm with Q's mom on this: I am pro choice which should not ever be confused with being pro abortion. I don't know anybody who is pro abortion. It's an incredibly difficult thing for a woman to go through. Every possible choice associated with an unplanned pregnancy is difficult. Only the woman who finds herself pregnant can decide if she can devote herself to nurturing a fetus into a baby.
And I'm the proud adoptive mother of a child whose birthmother chose to nurture her to birth after choosing she could not do so and terminated previous pregnancies. Before anyone makes judgements of her decisions, you would have to know more about the lack of parenting this woman received herself. Basically, she spent her late childhood and early teens picking her drunken mother off the floor. I think it's just incredible that by the age of 19, she chose to give birth to a child and also knew she wasn't at all ready to parent a child. Certainly her own mother was no help at all. I am SO glad she had a choice. I'm obviously glad she took good care of the baby in utero and gave me a wonderful healthy baby to parent.
