New group for women sent to the HOMES

Six days ago I started a new group on yahoo. It is called HOME of the blues For the women who were sent away to the Homes for Unwed Mothers. It can be any of the Homes, I think they were pretty much alike. My vision for the group is for discussion of the experiences of being sent away in shame, often times being treated badly and the trauma of feeling alone, even with a group of others. Also included is adoptees like me, who were born in the HOMES. To discuss our feelings and to learn what our mothers had to endure for our sake. If this interests you, please post to me privately.
