One is at Landstuhl Hospital monthly, and the other is in Mannheim monthly. They may be helpful. I would suggest contacting the state adoption agency of your state of residence. Also, there are some states with Special needs children who are very willing to allow military families overseas to adopt special needs children. There are some families in the Landstuhl area who have done that. Good luck. Hope this helps some.

The woman there I talked to is Named Clarice Carey and her email address is ccarey@dhs.state.ia.us When I contacted her about adopting (hubby is in the Navy and we are in Italy) she was very enthusiast about working with us if we could find someone to do a homestudy (we couldn't) and she had mentioned she had just completed an adoption with a military family in Germany.
