ok. you want an effective alternative to abortion?
how about not having sex? truthfully, it would seem to be a pretty easy solution to an age old problem wouldnt it? i mean, unless you ladies are getting pregnant doing yoga or something, the last time i checked, you needed to actually have sexual intercourse to get pregnant.
i myself have been abstinant for over 10 years. i prayed for the good lord to take my evil desires away from me, and voila, here i am. a guy without sex. im doing pretty well too. soon ill be outside of the age range where women will actually want to do it with me. im almost safe.
you see, i know first hand the perils of being adopted. what kind of identity issues a dood goes through, especially when the family who adopts him is freakin clueless, and has their very own dysfunctionality and history of abuse to deal with. hmm, maybe thats why they werent fit for adoption. i became their scapegoat, and they threw me away simply becasue i was acting up. what else could i do? emotionally immature, with no real effective role model in that department. what else was i suposed to do when they werent paying attention to my issues? to tell you the truth, they didnt even give them credence.
so, with my abandonment issues i go forth into an unwelcoming world. my mother had to insist, with the courts help, that i be branded a potential danger to god knows who, and that they place me into foster care. let me tell you, this went over very well with my abandonment issues, and contributed to about 15 years worth of arrested development and intense resentment towards my 'adoptive' parents.
believe me i could have done without all of that.
so my solution to all this nonsense is NO SEX. what do you think? a possability?

The ladies cant get pregnant without the men҅it takes two people to make a baby.
Abstinence is wonderful, but not just for the womenfor it to be fully affective, itŒd have to go both ways
Pregnancy isnŒt a womans problem; itҒs a couples problem҅although many men in crisis pregnancy situations don't see it that way.
I just thought I would point that out, since your post seems so obviously directed at women

its pointed at humans. can they control their compulsion to get down and dirty? i mean, what are christians doing having babies out of wedlock? is it an accident?
i contend that sex is never an accident, but rather a deliberate act.
'oopsie! did we just have sex accidentally? we did! how did that happen? goodness me!'
can you envision that scenario? boy i wish it was like that lol! i would be accidentally having sex at all places and times!
'OOPS! uh, pardon me maam. hey watch it! dont get too close... golly gosh! too late, we accidentally had sex again. WOAH there goes another! i just cant control my raging monster! and if you wouldnt get so close with that thing of yours maam, we wouldnt have this problem!'
seriously though, i do think no sex is as good a solution as any. do you agree?

oh and by the way, if women are abstinant, what do the men have to say about it, hmm? seems pretty effective to me if it takes 2, for 1 of the 2 to abstain.
you werent saying that nothing should be directed at women were you? i cant stand that attitude. woman arent to blame? ever? LOL! come again please?

OMG... it's good to finally know that the secret to getting pregnant is to have sexual intercourse!! (or, er, practice yoga, apparently).
I knew i had been doing something wrong in those pilates classes.
This "lady", while she appreciates that you are more than likely well meaning and obviously recoving from a bad adoption experience, wonders exactly what you hope to accomplish with your post?

I think she was just being sure to make it clear that it was directed toward both genders. Obviously...you are not a woman...and you directed it to yourself...what did you say...Ten years ago??

you are deliberately avoiding my point, which is that christians preach no sex until marriage, yet look at whats happening. are they of all people able to control their loins? i mean, its not that hard not to have sex. i dont understand what the big deal is. dont they all have gods assistance?

are you putting me on too? yes, you have to have sexual intercourse in order to get pregnant. i knew that much when i was 5 years old!
must i always have something in mind to accomplish when i say my peace?
ok then if you insist: what i hope to accomplish is to show how the insistance upon the sex act is a selfish one, one where the possabilities for bad outcomes are a much higher probability than if there is abstainance. only when you learn to look at it like that, will you see what im talking about. you cant focus purely on your own selfish wants and suppose not to hurt anyone else in the process.
sex is only intended for married people. i suffered because someone had an itch that nothing but sex would do to scratch. look what happened to me as a result! i would never think of putting a baby through what i went through. and to think its all because a aman and a woman thought selfishly for a moment in time.
is it really worth it?
