Dear Lord, Thank You for My Trials

[font=Times New Roman]Dear Lord, Thank You for My Trials[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]As I was driving home today,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I thought to myself,[/font][font=Times New Roman]How beautiful the world is,[/font][font=Times New Roman]How happy I am.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Then I found myself reflecting on my past,[/font][font=Times New Roman]As I sometimes commonly do.[/font][font=Times New Roman]My past was not so bright[/font][font=Times New Roman]And I didnt feel so happy once.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]I thought to myself,[/font][font=Times New Roman]How special & privileged am I.[/font][font=Times New Roman]The Lord must surely love me[/font][font=Times New Roman]Because I have had so much joy.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]But IҒve had so much pain too,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And as strange as it may seem,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I feel even more special & loved,[/font][font=Times New Roman]Because of all that I have suffered as well.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]So, Im writing this today[/font][font=Times New Roman]For all who suffer, to know thereҒs hope.[/font][font=Times New Roman]And especially to thank the Lord,[/font][font=Times New Roman]For his abundant mercy, unconditional love,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And forgiveness he has shown to me.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Because I have suffered so deeply,[/font][font=Times New Roman]I now feel so much joy and love.[/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you, dear Lord, for[/font][font=Times New Roman]Allowing me to know such pain,[/font][font=Times New Roman]That I could not bear it.[/font][font=Times New Roman]So that now I know[/font][font=Times New Roman]Such indescribable happiness.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you for my gifts and talents.[/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you for my ease of loving[/font][font=Times New Roman]So many people too deeply.[/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you for my tender heart.[/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you for my deep soul.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman][/font] [font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you for[/font][font=Times New Roman]The depth of love I have,[/font][font=Times New Roman]For the depth of soul I have,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And for all my many other[/font][font=Times New Roman]Strengths and weaknesses[/font][font=Times New Roman]That help me in their own way as well,[/font][font=Times New Roman]As long as I put my hand in yours, dear Lord,[/font][font=Times New Roman]And walk by your side.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Times New Roman]Thank you, Dear Lord[/font][font=Times New Roman]For all the good and bad,[/font][font=Times New Roman]That has helped me[/font][font=Times New Roman]To become the meӔ I am[/font][font=Times New Roman]That I love so much now.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font]
