I'm searching for my birth parents... I was born Jan. 21,1970 at Crawford W. Long in Atlanta, Georgia. The only information I know about my mother, she was 15 or 16 when she had me and was staying at The Florence Crittendon Home in Georgia. If you know anything about my family or anything about the Florence Crittendon Home... Please reply if you know anything. Thanks!:)

I do not have the small fortune that it costs to use Families First. I used them to search for birthmother as I am alos an adoptee and it cost 335.00. I am hoping to search through other resources first! Please advise if you know differently though! Thank you for the information!

Hi...I stayed in the FCH in Savannah, Ga. in 1966. I had a son, born 5/15/'66. I have been searching for him since I gave him up. The home was not bad. We were treated decently, but were brainwashed into giving our children up from the moment we arrived. As far as our case workers and the women who ran the home went, the only way was adoption. No one ever talked to us about possibly keeping our babies. I hope you find your Mother. If she has suffered the way I have, she has a big hole in her heart that will never be filled until she sees you.
