Can anyone tell me how I can go about editing a very old post. Ages ago I ended up with my first and last name in one of the posts (I know... silly me) :o Anyway, a friend was showing me some stuff on the internet and googled my name and the post came up. This has psyched me out somewhat and I would like to know how to amend it. Any ideas?
Thanks
You cannot ammend it yourself. You can however contact a moderator here and ask them to ammend it for you.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. How do I go about contacting an administrator? I looked at the administrator thing on this forum but it says that they choose not to get emails. What do I do now?
At the top right of your screen where it says "welcome Lindsie" click on search and enter jenboys OR crick. They are both moderators. This will take you to a thread that they have participated in and you can look up their message. Then you can private message them about the thread you want ammended. Or you can click on "member list" in the same line as you find search and look them up that way but that way takes forever. There has to be an easier way to contact them as how do people contact them that don't know who the moderators are? I don't know of the other ways though. Crick and Jen are just two of the moderators here. You will see "moderator" or "supermoderator" under their nics in their posts. They are likely to reply to you if you private message them. I hope that helps.

On the main page at http://AdoptionForums.com there's a link called View Forum Leaders and it will show you who of the super moderators and administration are online or participate regularly. Be advised though that there are several admin and moderators who don't regularly participate on the forums but only perform maintainence, so check their profiles to see that they have been online recently.
Lindsie, PM me the link to the post and I'll edit what you need :)
