My name is Ashley. i am 16. i just found out to day that i am preganant.i am scared. My parents are going to hate me. i dont know how to tell them. my friends dont even know. what am i going to do. i cant get an abortion. that is what my dad will want me to do. can he make me?

Hi Ashley. Your parents will be very upset at first but they will not hate you. They love you and will always love you. I do not know about your abortion question. But there are others here who will know. Can you talk to a counselor at school? Maybe he or she can help you tell your parents. It might be easier to have someone else there to help you talk to each other. My daughter got pregnant last year. She is older than you are but it was still very hard for her to tell us. We were very upset at first but after we got over the shock, we told that we love her with all of our hearts and helped her decide what to do. She never could have ahd an abortion either.
