Buddy Cole handled the adoption for my mother.
I'm your older sister Sherrie Engler www.horseartandgists.com
You were very much wanted, but a nasty divorce forced my mother to make a decision she should have never had to make. When you know the truth about your adoption, you will have peace knowing you were fought very hard for to stay with us.

As you sister, I want very much to find you and have you in my life.
I don't have very many facts about your adoption, but I do know the real story of your adoption.
Your adoption was handled by Buddy Cole, a private attorney, in Little Rock, Ark. My best date of your birth is possibly 09-18-1965. Your mother had blonde hair and blue eyes, however she does have Indian in her bloodlines, as her grandmother was full blooded Indian.
If any of this information sounds like you please let me know, I have family photos to let you see if you resemble us. I look a great deal like my mother, however I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.
Please email me if this rings a bell with what you know about your adoption? sales@horsartandgifts.com
A few updates on information:
Date of Birth is definitely 9-18
Year of Birth is 64 or 65 (mom has had a stroke, so her memory is unsure on the year)
The father may have been listed in the private adoption as Caucasion and Catholic, these are facts, but may not be on the adoption records.
Mother's last name during the adoption was Teitloff, back then you had to keep your married name after a divorce when you had children in the marriage.
My birth father (not yours) was the cause of the adoption. He fought in court, calling my mother unfit to raise us along with a child by another father. My mother was to marry the man who was your father, but circumstances in court made it impossible for her to do so.
The judge made her choose to keep you or lose me and my older brother forever. She should have never been made to choose, and the loss of you has been a devastation in her life. She asked about your often to the atty Buddy Cole, but all he could tell her was that you were doing fine.
I did not know of you until I was grown with a child of my own. I wish we could have grown up together and would have if not for the judge. Which by the way, was removed from the bench a few years after your adoption, for senility! Many of his cases were brought back to court, had there been another judge we may have grown up a very happy family together.
I hope this message finds you and I can fill in more history for you.
Sincerely,
Sherrie
