My gdtr's name is Ria. I thought it was short for Maria.

Speaking as someone whose name rhymes with things and always got tortured for it...It's a pretty name but I could just see kids changing it to diarrhea (sp).I know someone who named her dd Daya, middle name Rhianne. That said, every name can get butchered, kids can be very mean.
