I am always doing things at the last minute, and last night I found myself needing to get a baby album done quick for a gift, and in one evening I got a nice 'Babys First Year' album done. So I thought I would share some tips to get things done quicker.
- Use the paper 'sets' sold at the craft stores, it's all coordinated for you - no worrying if the 'pinks' are just right
- Consider a 8x8 album, many times a 6x6 is just to small, and a 12x12 just a bit to big
- Keep in mind the standard size of pics - most are developed in a 4x6, if you make mats that are 5x7 your pics fit w/ no cropping
- Use your computer . . . Those little sticker letters can be time consuming - and if you are using an 8x8 layout they will fit in your printer Just adjust the page size to a custom size in your word processing program.
- Find tools that you love, and use them - -especailly a good paper trimmer and adhesive dispenser. A ruler and craft knife and those peel off tabs will do the job - but they will slow you down.
I would love to hear your 'quick' tips!

I can tell ya what not to do:p
Do NOT scrap sleep deprived!
1) Your child's name has more than 1 letter. Stamping the same letter multiple times is not correct. If this happens - hope that a friend down the table has sticker letters that coordinate with your page!
2) Always double check dates. Although you child will not remember the first day they walked, You will feel guilty after you wrote the wrong date in marker. Again, hope that someone has a coordinating tag or something to cover your mistake.
These are very important to remember if you are a newbie scrapper & don't have lots of exter "goodies" yet.
