we are adopting from guatemala and the baby's birthname is Sara Leticia, her birthmothers name is Rosa, the name I had thought of is Celeste or Celestine. I would like to preserve her birthname or her birthmoms name, but also have a desire to contribute to her name myself. I like Celeste, and like that it as the SA sound from sara and the LES sound from Leticia. So..the possibilites: 1. Sara Leticia2. Sara Rose or Rosa3. Rosa Sara4. Celeste Rosa or Rose5. Celestine Rose Thanks for your opinions!

Question for you: Did Bmom name the baby or did the lawyer? I ask as many of the children are given names by the lawyer...IMHO that doesn't make the name AS special as one given by the Bmom. I know MANY transracial adoptees with 3 or 4 names... How about combining it into something likeSara Celestine Rose Have you thought about Celestia? It's a very pretty option :)Celestia Rose has a nice ring to it Sara Celesteand Sara Rose are always pretty too:)
