I am starting to research my options to bf my adopted infant. (who isnt born yet) I saw that the lactaid is an attachment. Is the Dop medicine used alone or with the lact aid?
Dop is used to help stimulate milk production. Some women who use it have to also use a supplimentor to supply baby with enough milk via breast feeding. Others do not. It really just depends on the woman. I know that many women who follow the full lactation protocol do not need to use the supplimentor or at not for very long.

I'm sure they would :) also a quick google search for "adoptive breastfeeding" should pull up a wealth of online resources as well :)
BEST OF LUCK!!
I used the accelerated protocol by Dr. Jack Newman and Lenore Goldfarb and saw milk after being on Yasmin for 2 months and domperidone. I never had more than about 3ml per pumping, but I honestly didn't have a lot of time to pump with a newborn AND toddler running around. I was amazed to see those first few drops!! Check out www.asklenore.com. She is a WEALTH of information and they have a message board where you can talk to other more experienced ABF'ers!! Good luck!
