I was born 1/17/78 in Newport Hospital. They were 21 and 23 at the time of my birth. I was adopted when I was 3 months old. I was in a foster home before that. I really hope to find them.

This is just a suggestion, in case you hadn't already thought of it. If your mother was from Newport, maybe she attended high school there. If she was 17 when she graduated, that should have been the year, 1974. Maybe you could get a year book??
