timing out

Okay - I'm a multitasker. I am getting frustrated, because I can be in the middle of reading or posting, and have to stop and do something, and when I come back to finish, I've been timed out, and I have to log back in again.

Any way I can change the amount of time? Is this just based on my PC settings, or is it a forum thing?

If it's not just me, how long do I have before I get timed out?

Me too. When I come to the forums I have to log on every time even though the Remember Me is ticked, and if I spend too long reading a thread, when I try to go back on into another section, I have to log on again.

I'm running an old system (W98) but it was OK before the update a couple of weeks ago.

I guess I'm just an impatient person. BUt I'm tried of writing and rewriting my posts! I get to the end, click post quick reply, then it asks me to log in, and my post was never recorded!!!

You've cleared cookies/cache?

Made sure you are running the most up to date software on your PC (Windows 98 is no longer supported, so I can't help you Kune, I'm sorry!).

I'll try clearing everything out. I do clear history daily, but don't remember how often my cookies are cleared. I'm on Windows XP - was just upgraded since I posted this. Maybe it will help. Thanks!
