most places you will wait 18 to 24 months. But the best thing to do is to get the # of the housing office and ask them. Make sure you talk to a housing person not the receptionist. They only tell you the standard answer. Where are you looking to go?

we didn't have a waiting list at all where we're stationed, but at the same time when we were getting stationed in San Diego the list was about 2 or 3 years.

We dont know where yet. Still in begining stages. We will know more on tuesday. I guess Ill have to wait till then :rolleyes:

At Fort Lewis my hubby and I waited for 27 months and that was with us BOTH being active duty and having top priority!

We've never had to wait more than one month, but I am disabled and have to have a handicap accessible unit, so we are always put at the very top of the list for the first available.
