Hey all,I had a question about out of state references. Due to living 13 years as an Army wife and never being anywhee longer than 16 months with several overseas tours added to the mix the only way we could find references that have known us the minimum 7 years we are having to go back to our home town.My agency sent an example reference for me to have them follow as well as an example witness statement for the notary to sign but my question is about the documents needing to be notarized, certified at my clerk of couty court and then authenticated at the guatemalan consulate that represents my state. We live in Maryland but our two references are from Idaho, can we still have them certified in Maryland and at the guatemalan consulate here or will I have to figure out a way to have this done in Idaho? And if it has to be done in Idaho can anyone give me any hints how I would go about this? Thanks in advanceLola
