Did anyone watch "The Monastery" on SUnday night? I forget if it was on Discovery or the Learning Channel, or neither. I saw commercials for it and didn't know if I would like how it would come across. However, I just happened to catch the last 10 minutes of it Sunday, and found I was interested in it. Did anyone else see it? I would like to see the next show.

I did see it last night--this time the full hour. I still like it. It is on The Learning Channel.

Are they just re-running a program, or is this a series?

My mom and I might like to view it. I'll see if I can find something out about it online.

This is a series, but I don't know for how many weeks. I didn't see the beginning of the first show, so I am not sure how the guys were chosen to go, if they wanted to go, or if it was suggested they go.

Five guys, ages varying, spending a few weeks with monks in New Mexico.

One has already left. Nothing against the people he met with there. He said it was not his thing, basically.
