Hello, Rhonda. This is a reply to your post from 3/2001. I was born 8/27/1970 in Fort Worth and my ** went through Jearl Walker for the adoption. I was born at All Saints Episcopal at 7:49 am. My adoptive parents gave me paperwork related to when they were adopting me a long time ago. They were directly dealing with Jearl Walker and paying for the services through his office.

A friend of mine has been looking for info on her adopted parents. She was born in Ft. Worth in 1972. Her adoption was through Volunteers of America. She is signed up with the registry at the Texas Department of Health. Recently, she was notified that a birth sibling has contacted the registry. If this is familiar, please let me know.

I am Rhonda's step-sister, helping her find her biological sister. We received more information since Rhonda's last posting: birth was at Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital, and the doctor's name that sticks out to my step-dad the most is Dr. Fisher (sp?) maybe Dr. Fischer (sp?). Adoptive parents were possibly a nurse or doctor at the hospital at the time of the birth. The year is still unknown (1969-1970). Since Rhonda's mom passed away, it's hard to fit the pieces together. The only thing that we know is that there is a sister of Rhonda's, possibly in Fort Worth, TX or in the surrounding areas. I would love to find Rhonda's sister for her. There's so much to know about your family...I hope we find you soon. Teresa
