Looking for my son's half brother. At his birth he was called Stuart(Stewart)Woods.He is the son of my ex-husband and his third wife. His father(my son's)and Stewart's(Stuart's) Stephen C.Woods Jr. and his mother Judy placed the toddler in St Joseph Orphanage in Louisville, Ky. in the 70's. He was adopted by a family in Louisville, Ky.who also adopted a little girl a few years later.The adoptive father worked for the Louisville School Board and the adoptive mother was a teacher in Louisville, Ky.If you know of Stewart (Stuart)Woods-? please e-mail either me or Stuart and have him contact me. We never new what happened to him until recently. I have had a letter placed in his adoption records should he ever want to get in touch with his brother.

Placed with adoptive home in 1977 and legally adopted by this family in 1979, they had to wait for biological parents to sign away parental rights. Your adoptiv parents also adopted a girl through Catholic Charities in 1981. Your adoptive father worked for the BOARD of EDUCATION and your adoptive mom was an elementary school teacher.Your biological brother who has the same biological father as you do but different mother and I have placed a letter for you in your doption files at Catholic Charities in Louisville, so that should you search for any of us you will not have to go through courts.

Check the year of birth or adoption and find out who was on the school board at the time. Someone would probably know of an adoption that took place. I adopted during the year of 1971 and knew a few people that worked for the board.
