Hi! I'm Tiffany. My husband and I have 2 biological children. A daughter who is 8 and a son who is 4. We're looking in to adopting from Guatemala. Due to medical problems I had to have a hysterectomy just before my 27th bday last year. We haven't even really gotten started and we're already at a halt. We can't figure out how to come up with the money. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know. As for food we're just north of Baton Rouge and I love Mike Anderson's. Looking forward to trying out Las Palmas off of Highland as soon as I past my real estate test!!!!

My name is Stephanie and we are fairly new to the Baton Rouge area. We are contracted with a facilitator but haven't been matched yet. My husband and I have two bio babies...one is 4 and the other is 4 months (yes...I got prego after starting the adoption process). We are wanting to adopt transracially but are still in a waiting period because we are building a home. Anyways, I'd love to talk to other moms here about adoption!
Stephanie, Which agency are you working with. I am the director at St. Elizabeth Foundation and we are always searching for local families willing to adopt transracially. We have contact with wonderful birthparents. Please call me if you would like more information, at 769-8888. Teri
