Looking for my brothers. James Leroy, 9-8-40, Tony Carson, 10-29-41, Parents were Marion Willard and Ruth Anderson. We lived in Hannibal, MO. Adopted from the CHS in St. Louis around 1943 or 44. All leads will be appreciated. :thanks:

How do i go about Registering with the state of MO? Marion was my husbands father and he has passed away. We are not sure about Ruth Davis Anderson. She might be alive. Last we head she was in Nursing home in Kansas City, KS. We know nothing more about her. Thank you.

I rec`d the birth/index from Mo for those born 9-8-40. We have a possible match, but now were deciding on how to proceed. Have no number for the brother, but a couple of hopefully relatives. Also anyone needing the list for MO, 9-8-40 , let me know. Glad to help.

Can anyone give me information on how to obtain a birth index? We are searching for my husband's birth family, and have just started. This is all a little overwhelming. I know the name of the person that arranged the adoption, and I know he was adopted in Kansas City between 9-28-44 and 8-22-45. The date on his birth certificate is 9-28-44. Any info would be greatly appreciated. We have submitted the form to the county to get the non-identifying information.

You need to send $52.50 to MO Dept. of Health & Senior Services, P. O Box 570, Jefferson City, MO 65102
Attn: Sheila Murphy
Make ck payable to Missouri Department of Health & senior services
You will get a list of names born on that date in the State of MO. The names will not be their birth names, they will be their adopted names.
