My husband and I are moving from out of state to Syracuse (Liverpool) this summer and are waiting to start our adoption paperwork until we're settled there since the move would complicate the process. We're planning to adopt from Guatemala through CCI but hoped to use a local homestudy agency. Does anyone have any recommendations? My thoughts were that if we can identify our homestudy agency we can ask for a packet of paperwork and start anything that isn't move-related. We know we have to wait for our new jobs and insurance to get that stuff, but if we have the forms/templates we can start asking for reference letters, getting physicals and such. Thanks in advance!
