I have some questions about blogging terminology.
On a message board, the entire board is called a board. Each section is a forum. Each topic w/in the forum is a thread. Each response on a thread is a post.
What is the comparable breakdown for blogs? Is the whole "adoptionblog.com" site called a "board"? I know that the entirety of what I write about "Hoping to Adopt" is called a blog. What is each entry called? A "post"?
Also, what is "meme"? I have seen that mentioned a few times, but I don't know what that is, either.
Thanks for your help!!

First - the non-blog related term meme: A meme is an idea that is passed on from one human generation to another. It's the cultural equivalent of a gene.Next: the word blog is a shortened form of weblog... so adoptionblogs.com is a group of blogs, a community of blogs, a network of blogs... whatever you want to call it. Each of you writes a blog, and each entry is a post.Hope this helps.
