It's still Fun Friday for a few hours.. (Yeah, I'm late again!) On this Good Friday, I thought we could take a minute to answer the question: Who loves me today? (How many can you list?) 1. God (unconditionally)! 2. My husband 3. My grandson, S. That'll do to start for me... how about you?

Sadmother, please know that there are others who love you and you have to remember that love comes in many forms. I too believe that only my daughters and the cat/dog truly "love" me but every Christmas we dig out "It's a Wonderful Life". Corny, I know but there are many lives that you have touched and others are better off because of you. They may not express their love but are grateful to you. At least that's what I hold on to when the darkness creeps in. All the best. (I think the birds and bunnies love me to because I feed them every day!) :hippie:
Sadmother, so glad to hear you got a card (even though he doesn't "do" cards). I'm hoping for one this year but not expecting it (if that makes sense). I'm happy I have 2 daughters I raised and hope they still love me when they learn of their older brother. I've kept the secret until they turn 18 (as requested by my husband's family) but the gloves are off now! They're great kids and I'm sure they'll be receptive and if I'm left out, so be it. All the best.
Keds, sometimes I'm the one who feels left out when my son and daughter get together with D! It's been fun to watch them create relationships. It's like they've always been family. (Sometimes D does a reality check with me to make sure my other son is not bothered by D's presence in our lives - the answer: J's just being himself... Sigh!)

Keds, I love it that mine do! D has practice being the "big brother" since he has 2 sisters in his afamily. I enjoyed meeting them (his sisters) when we were all together for Christmas. I also love it that D's daughter and DD's son love playing together (except when they both want the same toy!)
