Hi everyone --

My husband and I are beginning to look into adoption. I have looked at a few agencies, but am not sure what to look for in them and what questions to ask.

Anyone have any advice?

Hey, we are right up Hwy 29 in Lawrenceville. What type of agency are you looking at, private infant, international, or through foster care. We went through a private agency to adopt from the state. We love our agency. Let me know if I can help in any way.

we are looking at infant domestic. what's the difference between state and private agencies?

We get returned calls, little or no cost to us, lots of extra things paid for by the agency (camp, Attachment Therapy Assessments, and support when we need it not when they have time. When we used the state we rarely got returned phone calls or any support at all.
