We prayed for a child, God answered....

May 10, 2007- Our blessing has happened -baby Jude is officially adopted!!!!! Thank you each and everyone of you, for all your spiritual uplifting and prayers....I cannot express the sheer horror we felt going into the court room. Sleepless nights, crying days and nights, just emotionally draining! The morning we were going our little angel sat in his car seat singing...not having any idea what could happen that day. We both looked at each other and said "they cannot take him away" My mom prayed the rosary...tears running down her face as we left. My sister going to court with us, and the birth mom. Standing outside that courthouse looking at everyone's faces praying to God the birth father just would not show. The birth father did not show. The judge was excellent clearly making her ruling for the best interest of the child. The judge even stated it would not have mattered even if the birth father showed, two years is too long. Of course, I broke down all my years of praying and hoping finally were coming true. We held each other so tight....our cirlce included the birth mom. I have never witnessed a more loving, courageous birth mom. There is no doubt God has been by our sides throughout this entire process. Our hearts are filled not empty anymore!!! We hold baby Jude so tight..His family and grandparents are overjoyed!!!!! Walking out of that court room, we were the happiest couple in this world!!! My sister said...all your worries are now over!! I turned and said God I would love to adopt more children..there is nothing more greater then being mommy and daddy!!!! Thanks to everyone...I will continue to pray for all the other contested adoptions- Christie S. I am praying for you above all...always know God Answers Prayer!!!:clap: :wings:
