If you link to stories in the NYT and you don't want the link to expire, there's a way to allow readers to access the article even months from the time you post it. One of my readers sent me this, so I thought I'd share: Here's how: Go to this NY Times link generator: http://nytimes.blogspace.com/genlink Putting the original URL into the link generator translates the link into one that can be used in a weblog and which doesn't expire after one week. The original Times link was http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/05/world/asia/05cambo.html The weblog-safe link is http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/05/world/asia/05cambo.html?ex=1336017600&en=53f7f73caac64026&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss Very cool. I LOVE my readers!
