Aria has been a little under the weather (fever, bad diaper etc) She's been in a terrific mood and I didn't take her to the doctor because I have a cold, and assumed that she did too. She went to daycare and both the daycare provider and the other child had a cold. My question is...she took a really long late nap for two hours and woke up 1/2 an hour before bedtime and was totally SPAZTIC. Legs stiff, falling everywhere. (I thought she might be excited to feel better and started walking before she had fully woken up) She was finally able to control herself and started being more concious of her body. The weird part is...she was doing things she has never done before. Like....take her baby doll off the shelf, put it in the stroller and wheel it around the house then take baby doll out and put it back on the shelf. (she's 15 months) But she was doing it at the speed of light. So I wanted to know if any other parents have experienced a Spazzy kind of moment with their children when they are doing a bunch of new things and were kind of "topply" (for lack of a non-made-up word) Which may or may not be related to waking up from a long nap. Anyway sorry this is long.....she is being watched for Cerbral Palsy and was drug exposed at birth and wanted to know if this is normal behavior or drug baby behavior and if I need to call the doctor tomorrow :-( I know I'm being paranoid, but there are experienced parents on this board and any advice is appreciated. Thanks
