It's summer time and that means Camp for some kids.
Do you have a favorite Camp Memory from when you were a child? Tell us about it!!
The only camp I went to was Band Camp, and it was fun, hot and tiring, all in one!

I still go to camp every summer; we just take Nick now. Hollow Rock Campmeeting, Toronto, OH.
There were also Girl Scout camps and other things in the younger years.
Slumber Falls Camp brings the most memories for me.
We would blow the circuits because we kept using our curling irons and hair dryers and we would always miss breakfast because we were crowded around the mirror putting on make-up. We had to look good because there were a couple of good looking boys at camp. We were 14, what would you expect from a bunch of girls who didn't want to be "roughing it"??
me? camp? i dont think so.
of course there was mandatory camp in the fifth grade for a week. then in the 7th grade i got adventurous and went to a church camp type of deal - although i don't really remember doing anything "churchy" there...however it was the one and only time i slept outside on the ground (at least when i MEANT to sleep outside on the ground....)
I had to go to camp in 6th grade for a few days. Other than that, I never went. I always wanted to go too, I grew up in the "Meatballs" era, and the Parent Trap was one of my FAVE movies as a kid, but no dice. Even overnight swim camp was nixed, I think funds were a little too tight for that.
