So, tomorrow I take my last finial and then I'm GRADUATING with my BS on Saturday! My birth son and his parents are coming and i'm so excited to see them. My boyfriends parents are coming and not only will it be the first time that mine and his parents meet, but it is the first time his parents are going to meet my b-son and his family. EEEK!!
Without sounding cheesy, I just really wanted to acknowledge how my personal experience with adoption has let me accomplish so much in my life. Getting pregnant at 16 throws nothing but a negative prediction for your future, with the statistics to back it up. My open adoption has let me build an amazing relationship with my son and has given me an opportunity to pursue my goals and aspirations.
